E and I are both iPhone addicts fans, and it's probably one of those things that are a blessing and a curse....but seriously mostly a blessing. I thought it would be fun to talk about our favorite apps, but since I literally just decided to do this, I picked one that is near and dear to our hearts.
That App is Heytell ®
Heytell® pretty much turns your iPhone into a walkie talkie. It's an instant voice message without the commitment of a phone conversation.
Um....wasn't that like that phone that came out a few years ago and it was a big deal for teenagers to own one?
Yes. But it's 2012 now people. Calm down.
Heytell® works over wireless or 3G, and it's an excellent tool for not crashing your car while texting. It's also an excellent tool for sending your BFF strange messages at all hours of the morning, evening, and in between.
When we worked together at the preschool (and lived in the same city...sob...) HeyTell® opened up a window of opportunity for Elissa to wake me up in the morning with various ballads from the late 90s.
Bonnie is not a morning person, so obviously those ballads were sung as obnoxiously as possible to get me in a good mood for running late to teach 2 year olds not to hit each other with toys and keep their hands out of the toilet.
Sometimes, though....HeyTell® would send me a magical message from Elissa which included the phrase "what coffee would you like?" and that made all those horrible ballads so worth it.
Most times though...
It was this:
So, if you own an iPhone, Android phone, or something called a "Windows phone" then grab this free app!
The possibilities are endless.
Oh, and Allison, welcome back to TCK!!! Can't wait to annoy you see you again every morning!
(Just catching up on those shout-outs I promised)
Calm Down Friends!
Bonnie
