Well, here we go!! Bonnie and I go wayyy back….My husband (we will call him J-Crew) and Bonnie grew up together, blah blah blah blah... I'll skip to the friendship part... or I would like to if I could remember when that actually happened. I think it’s an understood fact that the greatest friendships are the ones you never can remember when they actually started. We’ve worked together at numerous places, most memorable would probably be at the switchboard for our college. We have way too much fun together, most of it can’t be explained, but fun is definitely had! Bonnie is that friend you wished you had, the one who knows... KNOWS you and still loves you, the one you can tell anything to and she won't just agree with you but help you and then proceed to tell you how crazy you are… ya she’s pretty amazing. So in case you don’t know us or even if you do, just be ready for a little bit of everything...

Where do I begin? The white hospital sneakers (seen above)? No, let's go further back than that. It's true that J-Crew and I pretty much grew up together. One semester in college he comes back from a summer spent in New Hampshire and is all "Hey I've got a girlfriend...here she is!" and I was all "Hey" and Elissa was like "Hey" and then we awkwardly interacted for a while because we had the same friends now and she was the New Girl. I also don't know when we became friends. It had a lot to do with working this really strange switchboard job, and also with the fact that Elissa is just way way way cooler than J-Crew. Also, her kids are adorable so I stick around just for the cuteness factor. A lot of our bonding time came with working at the same preschool and keeping each other sane after crazy days chasing 2 year olds. We are also both pretty obsessed with our hair. It doesn't really matter, I'm just really glad she's my BFF. I believe that God puts people in our lives for specific reasons, and Elissa has been the perfect person to walk with me as a friend. She speaks words of truth and will do absolutely anything to help or encourage. She's courageous, and she's a fantastic wife and mom. Now we live 7 hours apart and well, that's different!


So we are BFFs...and now we have started a blog together. "Calm Down" is kind of our motto, and kind of a joke. But really, grab a cup of coffee and take a minute to read our silly posts about our hair, our favorite accessories, crafts, cooking, our adorable kids/dog, and our patient husbands.
