Weird Outfits

I have a closet full of clothes, and I get bored oh-so-quickly. I've been challenging myself to look at the clothes I have in new ways and actually put a whole new outfit together. I love looking at how other people restyle what's already in their closets, so hopefully this is helpful to you in some way. It might just remind you that your style is way better than mine, and experimentation isn't always *ahem* successful.

Like my recent attempt to do self-portraits of my outfit. I'm a photographer, this should be easy-peasy right? I mean, I have a wide-angle lens, a professional camera, and a timer on that cammie. (That's what I call my camera...in my head..so professional)

Yeah. Also it was raining, so it all had to be done on my porch in front of the door with my Christmas doormat still there screaming "lazy people live here who need to put their seasonal decor away." Lucy Lu the 1st was also there lending a hand by yelping at passing cars and generally getting in the way. Overall, I think the results were dismal at best, but they gave me a good laugh... so you can all laugh with me!

Yup, so this is my porch. That's my face.

Lucy manages to get in this one, also I fancied myself to be some sort of  cowboy leaning against a fence post.

It was definitely a hat day! Found this one at Charming Charlie for $14.95, loved it. My hair was not cooperating so I tied it up in a messy knot in the back and just let it do whatever. I rediscovered my purple tights after a couple years hiding in my dresser, and now I want more colors! Went back and forth about the shoes, but went for comfort over fashion this time. I wish you could see the rest of the tee, it has the most adorable birds all over it! 

And now my attempts to get a shot of my hair.....good grief. 

Oh my.
