I know what you all were thinking,
Where is Elissa?
Did she forget about her blog??
Does she not have anything to say?
Did she and Bonnie get in a fight about who is more adorable, the kids or the dog??
(obviously the dog is more adorable...--Bonnie)

CALM DOWN PEOPLE!
For starters, my wonderful mom and sister came to visit this past week to help me get more settled in my new home, so most of my time was spent with them.
Then my adorable children got sick and my love J-Crew was out of town so extra time was non-existent.
Second, I will ALWAYS have something to say. haha
And finally no fights with Bonnie, we clearly know who would have won though! (Lucy)
So whats next for our blog?
Well this past week I went on a search for a few ,"everyday" outfits. You know how you always want to look nice, but in reality your body is saying...PLEASE PLEASE, put on those comfy pants and large over sized shirt! I wanted to find a good in between. Not too dressy but not too frumpy. Easy right?
Negative.
Negative.
My quest for stylish comfy clothes began... and failed until I walked into my faithful store T.J. Maxx...aaahhhhhhh(insert angelic tone)
I found an adorable top that has a great pattern! High neck, flowy sleaves, cinched waist. Perfect.
I found a pair of..........wait for it .................Jeggings!!! Yes, people I said jeggings, and they are RIDICULOUSLY comfortable.
Calm down, they are not the faded blue denim ones that cut off right above your ankle. If you have those, get rid of them NOW, no seriously it's for your own good, and the people around you.) They actually look more like skinny jeans.
I paired the outfit with nude flats (from Charolotte Russe) and some gold bangles (H&M).
We all need outfits that make us feel AND look great, who wants to feel like their gut is hanging out or their crack for that matter....not me!
(Since when do you go around with your crack hanging out?--Bonnie)

These pieces are definitely "staple" items.
Bad news.. no pictures yet.
Remember the part when I said my husband was out of town and my kids have been sick, well the extent of me getting ready has been verrrry mild.. and by that I mean, I've showered. That's all.
But I promise I will post a picture soon!
I do have one picture for you though... its exciiiting!!!
*don''t judge me for my short nasty nails, and the fact that they need to be re-painted.
I sent this picture to Bonnie since most of our conversations involve our favorite thing, NAIL POLISH!
This is what she had to say about my picture:
"Cute! Ps. these photos scare me, like you are going to scratch me, I shudder a bit when I see them on Pinterest."
So of course that got me thinking, why do we take pictures of our hands like this??
My guess, either we have oddly hairy knuckles or our hands are so swollen they look like little sausages with dots on the end.
Clearly I am NOT a hand model. For some reason I found this interesting though. Welcome to our lives!
Until next time. Grab a cup of coffee and Calm Down.
Elissa
*Ps. I love Bonnie, even when she inserts ridiculous things about her doggie Lucy. (Who is almost as adorable as my children.)
Nail polish!! PS. Those pictures look less scary if you're holding the bottle of polish - same hand position but it looks like you're doing it for a reason other than you're going to scratch someone's eyes out.
